"Nectar Jackpot" brings back childhood memories for me. We had a ton of rose of sharon bushes at our house. Now the hummers visit the feeder by the window in addition to the flowers. Working from my own reference photos this watercolor on paper was a fun project. It is framed in a soft white mat with off white frame--delicate to match the hummers. Price does not include s/h.

Born in Missouri and living throughout the US, Mary McCullah has worked closely with zoos and nature preserves giving conservation related programs and doing hands-on work with animals including gray wolves and birds of prey. These experiences have provided valuable inspiration for her art work. The award winning artist paints primarily in acrylic and watercolor concentrating mostly on nature and wildlife as subject matter. Mary is attracted by the fluid movement of watercolor and the versatility of acrylic. She works from her own reference photographs, often combining several photos.
