Artist's Description

Painted from the artist own reference photograph, this lovely lioness is basking in the bright sun. The work is watercolor on paper with an image size of 15w x 10h framed in a dark brown wood tone without matting. Framed size is 18w x 13h. I enjoyed painting a loose style to capture the essence of the animal. There is a companion piece, "King of the Sun" also available.
