I have always loved this pic I took at the zoo--a love fest of mother and baby! This is a watercolor on paper with image size of approx. 13w x 17h (inches). It is matted with black core mat with double "V" grooves and frame is dark. Finished size is 22w x 26h inches.

Born in Missouri and living throughout the US, Mary McCullah has worked closely with zoos and nature preserves giving conservation related programs and doing hands-on work with animals including gray wolves and birds of prey. These experiences have provided valuable inspiration for her art work. The award winning artist paints primarily in acrylic and watercolor concentrating mostly on nature and wildlife as subject matter. Mary is attracted by the fluid movement of watercolor and the versatility of acrylic. She works from her own reference photographs, often combining several photos.
