"He's My Brother" features two playful tiger cubs painted in watercolor and acrylic gouache on paper from artist's own reference. I loved the expression of the lower tiger cub--the soul of patience with his litter mate. We wonder what else lurks in the foliage waiting to pounce! Image size is 16w x 12h and is framed with v-groove mat and burl wood and black frame.
About Mary McCullah
Born in Missouri and living throughout the US, Mary McCullah has worked closely with zoos and nature preserves giving conservation related programs and doing hands-on work with animals including gray wolves and birds of prey. These experiences have provided valuable inspiration for her art work. The award winning artist paints primarily in acrylic and watercolor concentrating mostly on nature and wildlife as subject matter. Mary is attracted by the fluid movement of watercolor and the versatility of acrylic. She works from her own reference photographs, often combining several photos.
